Quiz: What Is It? Where Is It?

Today I have a little quiz for you. I know I can use a little more levity and beauty in my life. To help make that happen I buy my phone according to the quality of the camera. Consequently, I have a decent camera on me almost all the time. I also keep my eyes peeled for interesting things. Then I make it a rule to stop, as often as I can, when I first see something, because it is rarely there later, or the same.

I hope you have fun looking at these things. Try to think about what makes them “different” or “interesting.” There are real questions after each photo. Some are for you to think about. Others have objective answers. If you want the answers, please comment to this post and I’ll send you the answers.

Quiz Question #1 What is it? (Do you find anything unique about this? What is it and why do you think it is unique?)

Question #2 Where is it? Hint: North America (On all the where questions, if you know where I have been, or hang out, it might narrow things down a bit for you.)

Quiz question #3 What is it? (These are not uncommon, but what do you appreciate about this particular set.)

Question #4 Where is it? Hint: Europe (I’ve been to much of Europe, so think about where I was a couple of years ago. (I know that may not help…)

God and people are really creative! I have a lot of fun seeing what they can do, together or separately. Below is another interesting thing. This one needed no help from people.

Quiz question #5 What is it? (Have you ever seen one of these in person?

Question #6 Where is it? Hint: New England.

Remember to ask me for the answers!

About the author

Andrea Van Boven (Madden): I like to think I am a radical lover of Jesus, but I live in a house and pay bills and look like I fit in with respectable society, like most people. What goes on in my head and heart are hopefully the things that betray the look of "normal" that comes at first glance. I hope those things inside of me seep out to actions as well as words of hope and encouragement. I pray that these in turn will lead others to know the loving Creator who knows us so intimately that he has a number for every hair on every head.
