A Holy Spirit Move Around the World

There is a Holy Spirit move happening around the world, are you in sync with this movement? (Yet?)

Abba has me back on the road again, and maybe I should add airplanes. Two weeks ago, I was in Eastern Pennsylvania, for a large but brief, gathering of intercessors. Our call from God was to pray and worship to help open up a Holy Spirit move in the USA.

The very next day I flew to a conference in British Columbia, Canada where I was invited to help “stand in the gap.” One of our aims was to see a Holy Spirit move in Canada.

The photo above is of the team of intercessors we had in Canada. [I’m on the back row.] Jesus teaches us all to pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Every believer is called to intercede. We all have different gifts and callings, but that is for another blog.

When I returned home from Canada, I barely had two days to shift gears again. This week I have been at Asbury Grove Methodist Camp Meeting as the Prayer Minister. When The Grove was founded over 160 years ago, there was a Holy Spirit move that literally led thousands to faith in Jesus every summer.

The theme of this year’s Camp Meeting is “Unite to Ignite.” The speaker and I had never met, but well before this week the Holy Spirit gave both of us, independently, a very similar approach. It is all about each individual connecting and following the Holy Spirit’s direction in our lives.

This month I have been blessed to work alongside, old friends and to make new friends. I have also seen Abba clearly weave the Holy Spirit move into each of these gatherings.

In all these conferences we experienced a lot of answered prayers, including miraculous physical healings. Thank You Jesus for balance restored, hip healed, and past trauma removed, all to the glory of God.

Each of these gatherings have been very different, but all have been inspired and directed by the Holy Spirit. Personally, I am convinced Abba is welling up a move of the Holy Spirit around the world.

“Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle!
Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.”
 Psalm 24:8-9

I pray our response will be to draw close to God in the Word and in Spirit. Any who hunger to worship God in Spirit and in truth, will find themselves gently pulled into the flow of a Holy Spirit move around the world.

Come on in, the water is fine!

About the author

Andrea Van Boven (Madden): I like to think I am a radical lover of Jesus, but I live in a house and pay bills and look like I fit in with respectable society, like most people. What goes on in my head and heart are hopefully the things that betray the look of "normal" that comes at first glance. I hope those things inside of me seep out to actions as well as words of hope and encouragement. I pray that these in turn will lead others to know the loving Creator who knows us so intimately that he has a number for every hair on every head.

  1. Thank you Andrea, for your intercession and encouragement. I have been praying for a revival in California and in our nation, especially for our Gen Z kiddos. I know the Holy Spirit is moving and it’s so exciting to see!
