Restore and Revive

God is calling New England together in unity. Restore & Revive is taking place in Northfield, MA in a few weeks. I have been invited to teach a workshop on Monday morning, October 2nd. Also, I will be involved in intercession and generally helping out. I recently read a biography of D.L. Moody. He founded the Northfield campus to train women for the mission field. He was a well-known international evangelist in the second half of the 1800’s.

One of the goals is to bring people together from all over New England in unity. Biblical teaching, workshops, worship tent, and the fellowship of living on campus or at least spending the night nearby promises to be a rich experience for all who attend.

Workshop presenters include Dr. Claude King (TN), co-author of Experiencing God with Henry Blackaby, Gaylord Enns (CA), author of Love Revolution, Rabbi Grant Berry (CT), Author of Ezekiel Generation, and Laban Jjumba, one of the fathers of the Ugandan prayer movement.

Dr. Collins Lein (Western MA) will share on the unique sound of worship that God is bringing forth from New England, while Dave Gadoury (RI) and James Robinson (CT) present a plan for 24/7 prayer in NE and every state.

Be in prayer for this event. If you listen to Christian radio in New England, please let me know what radio spots and interviews you hear and where. There are also Facebook adds. We want to know how people are hearing about this event, so please be my eyes and ears.

Please pray for the plenary and workshop speakers (I am among the latter=})

There are still many details being worked through at this point. We generally have good unity, but as we approach and people get tired, from my experience, your prayers for all the organizers will help.

You can click on any of the links to learn more and pray as you are lead. Thank You! And by all means, COME to Restore and Revive if you possibly can, for one day or the entire time!

About the author

Andrea Van Boven (Madden): I like to think I am a radical lover of Jesus, but I live in a house and pay bills and look like I fit in with respectable society, like most people. What goes on in my head and heart are hopefully the things that betray the look of "normal" that comes at first glance. I hope those things inside of me seep out to actions as well as words of hope and encouragement. I pray that these in turn will lead others to know the loving Creator who knows us so intimately that he has a number for every hair on every head.
