Photos

This week I will make you work a little harder. I am posting two photos with a few verses accompanying each one. I will emphasize some parts of those verses, but my desire is that you pick one photo to sit with, according to your mood. Please come back to the other when you feel like it, thought in the end I see similar themes between them. Let me know if you agree.

My emphases are not clues to a right answer, but possible starting points to what Abba may want to say to you today. Hebrews 4:12 tells us”¹ For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

My prayer is for the images and the word of God to meet you where you are today, to speak to you personally through the Holy Spirit. Abba may send you in other directions. If so, find your own verses to go with the photos. Or your own photos to go with the verses. ;-} ! This week I began with the photos. Often I begin the other way around. Matthew 6:²⁵ “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ²⁶ Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? ²⁷ And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? ²⁸ And why are you anxious about clothing?
